Senior Day 2013 is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions older adults have made and will continue to make to the State of Texas.  The event will begin with a rally on the front steps of the Capitol at 10:30 AM.

After the rally, attendees will have lunch on their own and visit with their elected officials on issues they are concerned about. The emphasis will be on programs and funding of programs for older adults.

Local groups and individuals will need to organize their own transportation, pack a lunch or have lunch in the Capitol cafeteria (can be a long wait) or a nearby restaurant.
